Pregnant teenager and alleged "drug mule" Bella Culley is on the verge of striking a plea deal in Georgia which could see her walk free from prison.

The 19-year-old is facing life behind bars in Georgia after she was arrested on May 10 at Tsibili International Airport for allegedly bringing illegal drugs into the country.

At the end of July, Bella appealed to the judge to release her from prison on bail after discovering that she was pregnant with a boy. The prosecutor responded that there was no new evidence from the defence to set Bella free and she should stay in prison given there is a chance of her committing the crime again.
