Birthday cards he received are included in the more than 500 new evidence photos from inside his apartment at Washington State University released by police

"A son leaves your home but never leaves your heart. He discovers his own happiness which, in turn, becomes yours," reads the card from his parents

New evidence photos have been released by Idaho State Police of the apartment Bryan Kohberger lived in when he murdered four University of Idaho students.

The former criminology student was being housed in an on-campus residence at Washington State University, where he had been pursuing a doctoral degree.
