Clovis police arrested one driver on suspicion of DUI during a saturation patrol Saturday night that targeted impaired driving, the department said.

Officers conducted 47 traffic stops during the operation, resulting in 19 speeding citations, one reckless driving arrest, three driver’s license violations and five vehicles being towed, police said.

The enforcement effort was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
