There is a new system for picking up passengers from the Des Moines International Airport, and it doesn't involve cars lining up along the curb outside baggage claim.

The Des Moines International Airport announced the new EZ Pickup system for cars picking up passengers from the airport, which started Sept. 2. Originally, vehicles would line up along the curb at the airport entrances, resulting in high traffic.

What is the new pickup system at the Des Moines International Airport?

Upon entering the Des Moines International Airport, signs will direct pickup drivers to the parking garage. There are 26 EZ Pickup stalls in the garage where drivers can wait. Once the driver is parked, they can text the person they are picking up the stall number, letting them know they have arrived.
