North Bay Regional Health Centre will receive more than $1.8 million through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Funding and Community Infrastructure Renewal Funding.

Mattawa General Hospital will receive more than $57,000.

“Today’s investment will provide support for essential infrastructure improvements, creating a safer, more comfortable space for people and their families connecting to care and services within our local hospitals,” said Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli.

“Our government has been taking action and making record investments to protect Ontario’s health-care system ensuring patients and families can more easily connect to convenient care, close to home.”
