GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is helping to make the airport experience less daunting for families.
Organizers say the “Wings for All” program gives families and children with disabilities a practice run for flying.
Families will be able to go through the process of checking in, getting through security and boarding the plane without leaving the ground.
The experience also helps airport staff and TSA members learn how to better serve people with special needs, according to program organizers.
The free event is Saturday, Sept. 6. Registration is required.
