Judy Reyes is set to reprise the role of Carla Espinosa in the “ Scrubs ” reboot currently in the works at ABC, Variety has learned.

She joins previously announced returning cast members Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke. Reyes will appear in a recurring guest star role as Carla.

The role expands Reyes’ relationship with ABC, as she also currently appears in the broadcaster’s procedural drama “High Potential.” Her other recent TV credits include “Dr. Death,” “The Horror of Dolores Roach,” “Better Things,” “Devious Maids,” and “Claws.” In film, Reyes has starred in features like “The Circle,” “Birth/Rebirth,” and “Turtles All the Way Down.”

She is repped by Buchwald, ATA Management and Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo.
