COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Education Lottery said that two tickets worth $150,000 were sold Saturday.

Officials said that the winning tickets were purchased at the Country Club Food Mart on County Club Road in Spartanburg and at Cuz Corner on South Congress Street in Winnsboro.

Because the winner added PowerPlay for an additional $1, the $50,000 prize increased to $150,000 when a “3” multiplier was drawn, according to lottery officials.

More than 90,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $4 up to $150,000, officials said. Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
