Legendary Hollywood starlet Kim Novak, who famously left the business at the peak of her career, reflects on that decision and the realities of aging in an upcoming documentary, according to reports.
“I’ve been feeling the need to free something… I’m feeling close to the end," Novak, 92, says at the beginning of the film, “Kim Novak’s Vertigo.”
In the documentary, the “Picnic” star explains that her 1966 decision to leave Hollywood was partly influenced by seeing how the industry ”swallowed people whole,” referencing Marilyn Monroe’s tragic death, according to People magazine .
