Unionized Loyalist College faculty and support staff and their supporters on Wednesday will rally outside the Belleville campus to raise awareness of the college’s cuts to staffing and programs.

“Recent cuts to faculty, and alarming decisions by senior management, have cast doubt not just on the financial sustainability of Loyalist College, but also the availability of quality, local post-secondary opportunities for current and prospective students in surrounding communities,” reads a media advisory from the Ontario Public Service Employees’ union, which represents both groups of workers.
