Kristin Cavallari admitted to being “scared s–tless” of her dad, Dennis Cavallari, during her childhood.

While talking about how she urges her children to be open and honest with her, the “Laguna Beach” alum recalled how her dad would do the same. However, she never felt she could be.

“I just was never really honest with him, where I got to experience not getting in trouble for being honest because I was terrified of my dad,” she said on Tuesday’s episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast .

“I was always so, so scared of my dad. I mean, God, I never wanted to be around my dad, if I’m being completely honest. Like, he just always made me uncomfortable,” the former reality TV star added, explaining that she always walked on eggshells around Dennis.
