University of Tulsa punter Angus Davies, one of the few returning starters from 2024, had a big moment in the first half in a season-opener win over Abilene Christian last Saturday.
After TU was stopped on third down at its own 10 in the second quarter, Davies, a junior from Torquay, Australia, came on and hit an 80-yard punt.
It was the fourth-longest punt in school history. Ken Duncan (1969) and Glenn Dobbs (1942) have the school record at 87 yards.
