DANSVILLE — Police are asking for tips in connection with an investigation about a suspicious situation.

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of man walking in the woods at the Dansville State Game Area and asked the public for help identifying him.

Detectives would like to speak with the man in the photo "as soon as possible," officials said in a news release. They released no details about the investigation, other than to say it involves "a suspicious situation."

The image was captured on a trial camera about 4 p.m. Sept. 1, officials said.
