MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) - A man found severely injured behind a building in Middletown has died, according to police.

Police said they were called to the back of DaVita Dialysis at 100 Main St. around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

They said the man had injuries to his head and extremities.

He was transported to Middlesex Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said their investigation suggested that he was struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle has been cooperating with the investigation, police said.

They said the investigation remained active on Tuesday afternoon.
