MARTINSBURG — Comedic Hypnotist Flip Orley brings his unforgettable show to the Apollo Civic Theatre Sept. 20. Volunteers will experience hypnotism live on stage as Orley lets their imaginations run wild.

Orley first discovered hypnotism when he was in elementary school. After getting rejected when he invited a girl to a dance, Orley saw an ad for a book on how to ask a girl out using hypnosis. He decided to give it a shot. Though his second invitation didn’t go as he planned, and ended with Orley getting kicked in the groin, his fascination with hypnosis continued.
