Iconic Bristol venue to reopen as new nightclub months after closure

Iconic Bristol nightclub venue Lizard Lounge is set to reopen under new management, just in time for Fresher's Week. Ben Townley, Marketing, promotions and events manager for Triangle Bars Group - which also run the likes of Daisy's on the Triangle in Clifton - said the bar and venue group were hoping to revive some of the nightlife in the area that has recently been lost.

Set to open on Sunday, September 14, and described as a place perfect for music fans of Bristol, the team has promised a brand new dance music venue that will offer a new soundsystem and LED screens. It will also have a full rebrand and refurbishment as well as a new name - SixtySix.

Dazed Music and Lost Track of Time are also behind the new venu
