Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner was heard telling longtime “Vogue” editor Anna Wintour about his plan to seek revenge on Alexander Bublik before routing the Kazakhstan player , 6-1, 6-1, 6-1, on Monday night to return to the U.S. Open quarterfinals.

Prior to the match, the No. 1-ranked player in men’s tennis met with Wintour, as well as actor Rami Malek, on the court at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

“It’s time for revenge,” Sinner, 24, said while smiling.

Sinner lost to Bublik in a warmup tournament before Wimbledon that took place in June in Halle, Germany.
