ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —

One person was killed and several injured in a crash in Anderson County, South Carolina, on Monday night.

First responders arrived and treated multiple patients.

Leemorn Peterson, 84, was airlifted the hospital and died about 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The coroner's office said a preliminary investigation shows that the victim was a passenger in a car that was making a left-hand turn onto Highway 187 from Huitt Road when it was struck by a vehicle traveling on Highway 187.
