Influencer, family found dead, wrapped in plastic in truck

The bodies of a 32-year-old Mexican influencer, her husband and their two children were discovered wrapped in plastic inside a truck in Guadalajara.

Authorities confirmed the body of Mexican content creator Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, who had more than 43,000 TikTok followers, was found along with those of her husband, Roberto Carlos Gil Licea, 36, and their 13-year-old son, Gael Santiago and seven-year-old daughter, Regina, in Guadalajara’ San Andres neighbourhood, the Latin Times reported.

Garibay’s TikTok account, Esmeralda FG, was launched in April 2020 and featured lip-sync videos before she shifted to lifestyle and travel content.
