ASSUMPTION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A woman has been arrested after allegedly making threats toward school workers in Assumption Parish, deputies said.

According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, Brooke Nicole Gambrell Rulf, 27, is charged with two counts of assault on a school teacher and disturbing the peace.

Deputies said they were dispatched to Bayou L’Ourse Primary School on Friday, August 29, in response to a disturbance. They said that when they arrived at the scene, administrators said Rulf showed up at the school and began making the threats.

The suspect was taken into custody at a home.

Bond for Rulf has been set at $40,000.
