Netflix's newest romantic novel adaptation has secured its lead stars, and their on-screen spark is reportedly 'electric'.

The streaming platform has announced the cast for People We Meet on Vacation, along with confirming when audiences can expect to watch the film.

Posting on X, previously known as Twitter , Netflix unveiled behind-the-scenes snaps from filming, writing: "Meet Poppy and Alex. PEOPLE WE MEET ON VACATION starring Emily Bader and Tom Blyth is yours on January 9."

Cinema enthusiasts will probably know Blyth from his portrayal of Coriolanus Snow in the recent book-to-film adaptation, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Bader, meanwhile, gained recognition for her role in Prime Video's historical drama My Lady Jane, appearing opposite Edward Bluemel
