Lake Michigan College will hold an open forum next week as it prepares to search for a new president.

Current LMC President Trevor Kubatzke has notified the board of trustees he’ll be retiring on December 31, 2026, giving the college plenty of time to find a successor.

The college says it’s hired Pauly Group, Incorporated to lead the presidential search process, and a representative will be present during next week’s forum to hear the public’s thoughts.

The gathering will be on Thursday, September 11 from 4:30 to 5:30 in room 1413 of the Todd Center on the Lake Michigan College Benton Township campus.

Everyone’s invited to share their thoughts on the qualities and priorities needed in the next Lake Michigan College President.
