Manager Alex Cora did not confirm Tommy Cassell’s report about pitcher Kyle Harrison being called up for Wednesday’s game. It appears the Red Sox will have a bullpen game in the series finale against the Cleveland Guardians, with May expected to be part of the mix while Harrison’s status remains unconfirmed.
«We haven’t made a decision yet,» said the Red Sox manager on Tuesday afternoon. «Actually, we moved May to the bullpen this week. He will start again next week. We’re in the day-to-day business. Tomorrow we will have a bullpen day and he will be part of it. If he doesn’t pitch out of the bullpen this week, it will be 10 days between starts.»
