A blush-worthy pole dancing exhibition at the annual Colorado State Fair in Pueblo has organizers red-faced and locals griping that the raunchy display is a bit too racy for the family friendly fair.

“I was a little shocked that this is happening out of there,” fair-goer Nolan Babin told KDVR-TV News .

“It was inappropriate for kids,” another attendee told the outlet, “and this is a kids’ location.” 3

The controversy stems from a demonstration at the fair on Friday, when a pole was erected on a stage and used to demonstrate the art of pole dancing — a common tool for strippers that has also gained popularity in recent years as an exercise regimen.

However, the daring demonstration went viral online, leaving organizers red-faced over the stunt.
