IOWA CITY — Mark Gronowski did not manage a banner day in his debut as Iowa’s starting quarterback in a 34-7 win over UAlbany on Saturday.

The Naperville, Illinois native completed eight of his 15 pass attempts for 44 yards and one touchdown before leaving the game early due to cramps.

On Tuesday, Gronowski, who said he was disappointed in his own performance , said he feels confident in his ability to fix the issues which plagued him against the Great Danes.
