BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - There are a lot of questions about a dog attack in southern Kentucky.
A woman died after police say several dogs attacked her.
It happened on Friday afternoon on Sandy Branch Rd. in the Flat Lick community of Knox County.
Deputies in Knox County say there are, still many unknowns in this tragic case. 911 got a call from a neighbor saying a woman was being attacked by dogs.
When police arrived, the dogs had left, and the woman was suffering from numerous bites. She later died at the local hospital. She’s 44-year-old Priscilla Jones.
“She would help anybody. She would do anything for anybody,” said Johnny Smith. Smith says he was married to Priscilla for 25 years and Wednesday would have been her 45th birthday.
The neighbor had heard signs of distress and saw
