ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - In a tradition that dates back to the 1980s, principals, head coaches and players from Rapides Parish high school football programs came to the Alexandria Rotary Club to promote their programs ahead of the 2025 high school football season.
“We do it for them to represent their teams and to be able to present their schools and to let us know what’s going on,” Alexandria Rotary Club President Michael Upton said. “I think it’s good for the kids to be showcased.”
Last season, a Rapides Parish school played a state championship game for the first time ever inside Caesars Superdome, when the ASH Trojans faced Edna Karr.
