The 28-year-old said the pain he's experiencing in his eyes and lungs is the aftermath of his encounter with the officer, who hasn't been identified yet by OPD.
Lake said he and his friends were leaving a nightclub and walking down Orange Avenue Monday morning when they saw officers making an arrest.
"Once I stepped back and started recording, an officer came and stated that we needed to be 25 feet, which I do know the laws . And I told him that I was cooperating," Lake said.
