PUTNAM, Connecticut — A Putnam road has reopened after a motorcycle crash involving serious injuries Tuesday.

The crash happened in the area of 387 Killingly Ave, according to the East Putnam Fire Department.

Connecticut State Police said the road was closed but has reopened as of 9:20 p.m.

The condition of the motorcyclist and the events leading up to the crash are currently unknown. A LIFE STAR helicopter landed in a nearby field following the collision.
