GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Grant County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) K9 Uno has retired following a severe neck injury, according to their Facebook page.

GCSO says Uno is a 3-and-a-half-year-old Belgian Malinois, was teamed up with Cpl. Luis Jimenez. Deputies say following a vet visit, Uno's veterinarian discovered a "severe neck injury" during a screening.

Uno joined GCSO in 2024 as a patrol K9. GCSO says he will spend his retirement with Jimenez and his family.
