THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - Today’s something good is a classic cat rescue!

Ursula Page said she heard purring and crying coming from her car, but couldn’t find the source.

More good news:

She, her co-worker, and even a delivery driver helped her search for the source and tried to lure it out with salmon skin.

It took calling in two Thomasville firefighters to wrangle the cat out!

She said the two worked to get him out, even removing a small part of the car to reach him.

Ursula is a photographer, so she got some glamor shots of him and dubbed him ‘Smokey’ after the firefighters who got him out of the car!
