SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A man with prior convictions related to firearms, possession of stolen property, forgery and more has been arrested for allegedly stealing diesel fuel from a construction site.

On September 1 just after 6 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Knight Street near the YMCA in reference to a reported theft.

Responding officers learned that employees of a construction company working on the YMCA soccer field confronted a man they saw stealing diesel fuel from the site.

The company had previously experienced multiple thefts and had installed surveillance cameras to monitor the area. Video evidence captured Jason Rudolph, 46, stealing fuel, according to police.
