ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KRQE) – Alamogordo police are releasing details on what led to the evacuation of Friday's varsity football game. They said they responded to several disturbances at the game.
They said a 14-year-old female was arrested for battery on an officer, and a 15-year-old was referred to juvenile authorities for public affray and obstructing an officer. Officers became aware of potential threats connected to the altercations and are investigating. They said that Alamogordo Public Schools made the decision to clear the stadium to "ensure the safety" of everyone in attendance.
