WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Doogie Sandtiger, otherwise known as the "Croc King," was honored in his hometown of Wethersfield.
Sandtiger received a proclamation to celebrate setting the Guinness world record for the largest collection of Crocs.
Wethersfield Mayor Ken Lesser (D) also named Sept. 2 as "Croc King Doogie Day.” “Its just amazing and it's proof that long game and consistency, and if you just work at something, just one day at a time it all leads to a good path, and good road and positivity,” Sandtiger said.
The Croc King also said he will be donating his Guinness world record plaque to the town.
