WASHINGTON, D.C.—From the Oval Office, President Donald J Trump flanked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Alabama lawmakers, on Tuesday announced that his administration is relocating the U.S. Space Force Command from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Huntsville, Alabama.

This move will save taxpayers $480 million said U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL). Huntsville is home to the 40,000-personnel U.S. Army base Redstone Arsenal—future home of Space Force—which hosts over 75 agencies including the FBI, DOJ, NASA, and DoD. Private space companies Blue Origin and SpaceX are also in Huntsville.
