BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Magic City is going emerald. The traveling production of the "Popular" musical "Wicked" moved into the BJCC Tuesday morning, transforming into the magical world "One Short Day" before the curtains open.

The tale of two witches, Elphaba and Glinda, is one many have come to love. According to the American Theatre Guild, "Wicked" has been seen by more than 70 million people worldwide. This number does not include any who saw part one of the movie "Wicked."
