By Thursday, a cold front slides in from the northwest, and the timing will be the difference maker.

Thursday evening's forecast for the Eagles is looking a bit dicey. Showers and a few rumbles of thunder will approach by around 7 p.m., and areas just west of the city are now under a marginal risk for severe weather, with possible lightning and damaging winds.

The first showers and storms should clear relatively quickly, but there will likely be at least shower and T-storm chances during the game.
