Seven people were killed in six separate motor vehicle crashes in New Jersey during Labor Day weekend.
The crashes happened between Friday morning and Monday evening, according to fatal crash data from the New Jersey State Police.
The first fatal crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Friday in Pilesgrove Township, Salem County. A few hours later, a driver was killed in a 7 a.m. crash in Toms River, Ocean County on the Garden State Parkway.
