DETROIT - Ford Motor Company is recalling more than 105,000 Mustang vehicles from the 2024 and 2025 model years due to a defect that could cause exterior lights to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall affecting 105,441 vehicles.
According to the recall report, the problem stems from improperly sealed body seams in the cowl area near the windshield. This can allow water to leak into the vehicle and contact the Body Control Module (BCM), a key electronic component that manages several vehicle functions, including exterior lighting.
