The Orlando 2020 NBA Championship has sparked debate among fans. After COVID-19 paused the season for months, the league placed teams in the bubble, where they had limited practice and preparation. However, inside the controlled environment, LeBron James and Anthony Davis stepped up their games and guided the Lakers to their 17th title.
Despite the accomplishment, the championship has faced its share of criticism. Most notably, the Philadelphia 76ers’ president referred to the title as not a “genuine championship.”
Towards the critics, veteran NBA analyst Zach Lowe delivered a direct defense of the Lakers’ win. He claimed that people largely disrespect the title because LeBron and the Lakers won it.
“If any other team and any other superstar had won that title, there would be none of th
