HOUSTON - Just as the Yankees kicked off an important stretch of games, Jose Caballero was kicked out of Tuesday's series opener against the Astros .
Caballero became enraged at plate umpire Ramon DeJesus during a fourth inning at-bat at Daikin Park and - once again - manager Aaron Boone could not save him from being tossed out.
Ryan McMahon replaced Caballero, and the Yankees scored a 7-1 victory, their eighth win in nine games.
Attempting to hold up his swing on a Framber Valdez delivery, Caballero appeared to swing through the pitch, which then bounced and struck Caballero on the back leg.
Caballero clearly felt he hadn't swung and should have been awarded first base. Turning his ire toward DeJesus, Caballero was quickly tossed as Boone rushed out of the Yanks' dugout. Expert MLB
