The West Indian American Day Parade brought music, culture, and good vibes to Brooklyn on Labor Day, but just a few hours later, that energy turned. Police say at least seven people were hurt in a series of four shootings and one slashing after the parade ended Monday night. One of the most recent shootings happened around 9:30pm near Rochester Avenue and Eastern Parkway. That’s where a 14-year-old boy was shot in the hand and back. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
