Jill Sobule did most of her touring as a solo artist, but when she came to Pittsburgh, the folk-pop artist magically had a band — affectionately named Jill’s Jagoffs.
That story of that band, which will play tribute to the late artist on Friday, began with a pool game with English musician and songwriter Lloyd Cole in a Chicago bar in 1998.
