Following a beautiful stretch of days to start our week, a cold front passing through will bring scattered showers and cooler temperatures. These showers really pick up around the morning commute, likely to be the most widespread through mid-morning. We could even hear a rumble of thunder or two, but they'll be few and far between. Rain continues into early afternoon, but becomes much more isolated. As winds shift to come in from the northwest behind the cold front, they'll pick up to 10-15 mph. Temperatures reach a high of 68 degrees in Madison today.
