KALKASKA — A man facing eight assault with intent to murder charges in Kalkaska County is being held on an $8-million bond after police say he shot at people driving off-road vehicles Monday.

Michael Stephen Griffith, 35, was taken into custody and is being held on a cash and/or surety bond, Kalkaska County Sheriff Pat Whiteford said Tuesday.
