Ryan Spilborghs has gone to bat for what is now known as the Future Legends sports complex in Windsor throughout the project's different ideations and persistent tumultuous history.

But nine years into the unfinished project that continues to be mired in a litany of litigation, even the upbeat former Rockies player and current team TV broadcaster is unsure of the future of a dream that has turned to dust.
