Philanthropist, researcher and local hero Martha Hart turned an unimaginable loss into a way of giving back in an unimaginable way.

In 1999, Hart lost her husband, Owen, who was known to the world as a wrestler but to his community as a generous and kind husband, father and friend. Wanting him to be remembered for the person he was , rather than his athletic career or his high-profile death, Hart founded the Owen Hart Foundation (OHF) in 2000.
