Hyeseong Kim made his return to the Dodgers on Tuesday after missing a month’s worth of action, and the road back wasn’t as straight and narrow as it usually would be.

While the Dodgers activated Kim and pitcher Michael Kopech on Monday, the infielder was forced to wait roughly 14 to 15 hours and sleep on the floor at the Oklahoma City Airport due to missed connecting flights and flight delays, reports Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.

“It was very difficult. You’re 100 percent right,” Kim said through his interpreter – who was also stranded at an airport for 14-15 hours on the way to Pittsburgh. “I’ve never spent so much time at an airport as I did yesterday.”
