Lush closes every shop in UK 'in solidarity with Gaza' as bath products giant takes stand

Lush has declared that it is closing all of its stores in a show of 'solidarity' with the people of Gaza amidst ongoing conflict. The high street cosmetics giant expressed on their website "the anguish that millions of people feel seeing the images of starving people in Gaza, Palestine", and announced that its shops, website and factories across the UK would be closed for the day.

A brief message displayed in the windows of Lush's 102 stores reads: "Stop starving Gaza - we are closed in solidarity". Lush stated that this decision would result in the British government losing a day's worth of tax contributions from the company and its customers.
