A group of suspected masked carjackers are on the loose after they allegedly stole a man's black Mercedes-Benz C300 in the Hollywood Hills.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded at approximately 1:57 a.m. Wednesday to the area of 1318 Devlin Drive after receiving a call from a woman regarding two armed suspects attempting to steal her boyfriend's car, LAPD Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.

LAPD officers canvassed the area for surveillance cameras that may have captured footage of the vehicles as they left the area, according to reports from the scene.

There was no further suspect description.
